Meet Dr. Meggan Dimerling DMD

I have been practicing dentistry in the Fort Worth area since 2019. Although I now consider myself a Texan, I grew up in Delaware before relocating to Katy, Texas, at the age of 15. The transition from a small town to a larger city was transformative, and I quickly developed a passion for meeting new people and embracing the diversity of experiences and cultures that come with city life.
From an early age, I was drawn to dentistry, a field that seamlessly blends my creative interests with my desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Despite not having family members in the profession, I had positive experiences with my childhood dentist, which inspired me to pursue a career in oral healthcare. As a child, I was fascinated by the world of dentistry, often playing with a Play-Doh dentist kit, and I cherished books like Astrid the Tooth Fairy. Over time, I came to realize that dentistry offers an ideal combination of artistry, precision, and service to others.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree. I earned my Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University in Arizona, where I had the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including laser dentistry and CAD/CAM systems. Since graduating, I have made it a priority to stay at the forefront of dental advancements. I am an active member of the Spear Study Club, have completed the Bioclear course, and continue to expand my knowledge in emerging fields such as 3D printing, which is rapidly transforming the dental industry.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling, playing board games and card games, and decorating my home. My husband, Tyler, and I have been together since 2010 and married since 2019. We share our home with our playful orange tabby cat, Clementine.
